Enter a team in the 2010 Canary Derby

Help the BC technology community fight back against cancer by sponsoring the 2010 Canary Derby. Net proceeds raised are donated to the BC Cancer Foundation to support ground breaking early cancer detection research.

Each team will design, build and race a soapbox car and organize fundraising activities. Your team will:

• Enjoy a great team-building event
• Raise money for a great cause
• Have access to professional fundraising tools and expertise, including a website that makes it easy
• Race multiple times on the track, including heats
• Have a chance to win awards for top fundraiser, fastest car, most stylish, and "bent wheel."
• Receive recognition on Canary Derby website

About the Canary Derby

The Canary Derby challenges companies to build a competitive soap box car and raise funds for an undeniably great cause.

Don Listwin, Silicon Valley veteran (formerly with Cisco) and founder of the Canary Foundation, will be in attendance at both events.

In 2009, the Fourth Annual Victoria Derby raised $129,000 and the Second Annual Vancouver Derby raised more than $113,000. We need your support to raise funds for early cancer detection and make 2010 a record year.
